2 times a day, 10.00-12.30 and 13.30-16.00
Join us for new classes at the Studio, which will be held on weekends! This is a great opportunity to spend time creatively, learn new skills and create something unique. The classes have been designed with individual visitors in mind, both children and young people (in selected age groups) and adults.
In an intimate setting, under the guidance of experienced tutors, you will learn interesting techniques and make creative use of recycled materials.
Don't wait - choose the workshop that interests you most and buy your ticket at the Copernicus ticket offices. You will find a detailed schedule of classes below. Join us and find out how easy it is to combine science with art and great fun!
Do you have a redundant gherkin jar? Bring it to the workshop and transform it into your own table lamp using the simple instructions we have prepared for you. Acting in the spirit of upcycling, you will transform a jar you no longer need into a useful lamp. You will work mainly by hand, using basic (electro)tools (screwdrivers, drills, etc.) and using waste materials we have collected (e.g. old jars, pieces of plywood, wires, light fittings). You will learn how to work with wood, as well as how to cut and assemble electrical cables. You can also bring your own materials that linger unused at home (such as a 500 ml jar with lid, a small E14 light bulb, an unused cable with a switch for a lamp and a plug). Turn useless things into something worthwhile with us!
