Aleksandra Janusz graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in the piano class of Joanna Ławrynowicz-Just and Wojciech Świtała and in the chamber music class of Katarzyna Jankowska-Borzykowska and Grzegorz Skrobiński. She grew up in a family with multi-generational musical traditions. Since childhood, she has honed her skills at national and international piano courses under the guidance of such masters as Janusz Olejniczak, Kevin Kenner, Yulianna Avdeeva, Katarzyna Popowa- Zydroń, Elżbieta Tarnawska, Dmitri Alexeev, Alexei Lubimov, Akiko Ebi, Tobias Koch, Kristian Bezuidenhout, Ludmil Angelov, Ewa Pobłocka, and Dang Thai Son.
As a soloist and chamber musician she has given concerts at the National Philharmonic Hall, the Polish Radio National Symphony Orchestra (NOSPR) in Katowice, the W. Lutosławski Studio S1, the Royal Castle, the Częstochowa Philharmonic, the Fryderyk Chopin Museum, the Royal Łazienki Park, Florianka, Chopin's Birthplace in Żelazowa Wola, Sanniki, POLIN, the Palace in Radziejowice, and abroad: Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Estonia, Germany, Dubai, where she represented the country at the international exhibition, EXPO 2020 performing Chopin recitals in collaboration with the Fryderyk Chopin National Institute.
She is passionate about pedagogy, has been bent on teaching young students of the art for several years, and sits on committees as a juror. She is also involved in co-organising piano workshops and competitions. She has won top prizes at more than 30 international and national chamber music and piano competitions including the Chopin Competition in Narva, Estonia. She has received scholarships from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage and the National Children's Fund. She is currently studying at the Doctoral School at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music.
