A new exhibition commemorating the collecting passions of Stanisław Kostka Potocki and his descendants has opened in Wilanów.
The exhibition showcases objects from the Wilanów Far East collection hitherto hidden away in storage. Visitors can marvel at handicraft products made of ceramics, glass, as well as laka and made in mixed techniques. 17 October 2019 saw the opening of a new part of the exhibition presenting a unique nanban-style table made in 17th-century Japanese workshops, which has regained its lustre thanks to careful conservation, preceded by research, carried out by specialists in the workshop of the King John III Palace Museum in Wilanów.
