Legia Warsaw was founded in 1916, when Józef Piłsudski's Legions stationed in Volhynia conceived the idea of a legionary team. Legia celebrates the centenary of its foundation. One hundred years! A century of beautiful history, the century of the Great Legion.

Legia Warsaw is a great history of Polish and world sport. In 2014 we celebrated the 60th anniversary of Lucjan Brychczy, who came to our Club in 1954. Mr Lucjan co-created all the successes of the Great Legia. He won the Polish Championship titles four times as a footballer. He took part in others whether as a coach or as an activist. Today, he is the Honorary President. The Museum could not lack memorabilia related to the career of Master "Kitty". Even the uniform, sportswear and a number of trophies are on display....
