Snatam Kaur is a US-based singer, composer and social activist raised in the Kundalini and Sikh Yoga traditions. She has a remarkable talent for transforming traditional mantras into melodies that hit the fancy of a contemporary audience. She spent over 20 years with her spiritual teacher Yogi Bhajan. It was he who taught her Naad Yoga, a yoga focusing on sounds. Through her personal experience of inner peace and healing, her music reaches people with different perspectives on life. For the past 20 years, concerts, music and workshops have been Snatam's way of giving others the tools to find peace in everyday life.
