Located on the right side of the Vistula River, Old Praga is a district with a unique atmosphere. Although for many years it was perceived as somewhat forgotten, today it is experiencing a renaissance, attracting tourists and locals alike with its unique atmosphere. What to see in Warsaw... <strong>What to see in Warsaw's Old Praga<\/strong>? Here's a hint!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A walk through the historic streets of Prague<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The heart of the district is considered to be Z\u0105bkowska Street, which is one of the oldest and most characteristic places in Praga. The unique atmosphere of the area can be felt particularly strongly here. The street has retained its original character, with numerous red brick townhouses, many of which remember the pre-World War II era. <strong>On Z\u0105bkowska Street<\/strong> you will find numerous <strong>caf\u00e9s<\/strong>, <strong>bars<\/strong>, <strong>pubs <\/strong>and <strong>restaurants<\/strong>. Some of the best known include Bald Penguin, Beer Station Prague, In the Vapours of the Absurd and Skamiejka. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The well-preserved Brzeska, Wile\u0144ska, K\u0142opotowskiego, Okrzei, Targowa, \u015arodkowa and Szwedzka Streets are also worth a stroll. On many buildings you can admire impressive murals that tell the story of the district and its inhabitants. One of the best recognised is <strong>Praga Ferajna mural<\/strong> at 43 Stalowa Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Trail of Churches, Cathedrals and Orthodox Churches<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If wondering, <strong>what to see in Warsaw<\/strong>, you are considering visiting monuments of sacred architecture, a visit to Old Prague will be a very good idea. One of the most important churches on the right bank of the Vistula is the Cathedral of St Michael the Archangel and St Florian the Martyr. Built at the turn of the 20th century, the temple is an excellent example of Neo-Gothic. Its impressive fa\u00e7ade and rich interior will certainly impress lovers of sacred architecture. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other interesting Catholic churches include the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on Kaw\u0119czy\u0144ska Street, the Church of Our Lady of Loretto on Ratuszowa Street and the Church of St Vincent \u00e0 Paulo on Bia\u0142ostocka Street. At <strong>Warsaw's Praga district<\/strong> There is also the Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint Mary Magdalene Equal to the Apostles. It is one of the most important Orthodox churches in Poland and a central place of worship for Orthodox believers in Warsaw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Museums in Warsaw's Praga district<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Warsaw's Praga<\/strong> abounds in interesting <strong>museums<\/strong>among which the Museum of Warsaw's Praga stands out. The museum is housed in historic townhouses, the oldest of which dates back to the 18th century. The permanent and temporary exhibitions present the everyday life of the district's inhabitants over the centuries, the cultural diversity and industrial development of the district. Interactive exhibitions and numerous memorabilia and photographs allow a deeper understanding of the specific character of this part of Warsaw. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While in the Museum of Warsaw's Praga district, it is worth visiting the nearby <strong>R\u00f3\u017cycki Bazaar<\/strong>. Established at the end of the 19th century, for decades the market was the centre of commercial life in right-bank Warsaw. Although today its importance has diminished, it is still worth a visit to feel the atmosphere of the old days. The Museum of Polish Vodka in the Koneser Praga Centre is also worth a visit, <a href=\"https:\/\/bestofwarsaw.pl\/archiwum\/en\/guides\/warsaw-museums-2\/\">Neon Museum<\/a> and the Museum of Life in the People's Republic of Poland in Soho Factory and the Museum of Printing in the aforementioned Z\u0105bkowska Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>In Old Praga in the open air<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>After an intensive tour, relax in one of the <strong>of Warsaw's most beautiful parks - Skaryszewski Park<\/strong>. This extensive green area offers numerous walking paths, ponds and picturesque corners, ideal for a moment's rest. The park is also the venue for many cultural events, including outdoor concerts and festivals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An interesting outdoor attraction is also established in 1865. <strong>Praga Park<\/strong> with its iconic giraffe statue, playground and numerous ponds and fountains. At the end of the tour, it is worth taking a walk along the right bank of the Vistula.
