W utworze ,,Sounds Alive” dwie kobiety spotykają się w czasie wojny, połączone wspólnym losem. Czasem są wrogami, niekiedy siostrami – ale obie związane są z miejscem i sobą nawzajem w sposób nierozerwalny. Ich wspólna podróż pełna jest jednocześnie chwil bliskości i dystansu, siły i kruchości. Bohaterki ,,Sounds Alive” próbują śpiewać, krzyczeć, mówić, ale ostatecznie są w stanie wydać z siebie tylko jeden dźwięk, za pomocą którego opowiadają swoją historię.
