The Roadhouse Band will perform again at Jassmine, presenting music from 'Twin Peaks' as a tribute to the recently deceased David Lynch. The concert will be a unique remembrance of the iconic work of the brilliant director.
Commissioned by Polish Radio Programme 2, Hubert Zemler brought together a group of friends and prominent figures from the independent scene to perform the soundtrack from the 1990 series Twin Peaks in its entirety.
Magdalena Gajdzica, Tomasza Duda, Bartłomiej Tyciński, Piotr Domagalski, Jerzy Rogiewicz and Hubert Zemler have worked together many times before - they form, among others, the bands Magneto, Mitch&Mitch, Jerz Igor and Enchanted Hunters - but this is the first time they have performed in such a combination.
The idea of recreating the mood of the series and preserving the form of the legendary soundtrack met with an enthusiastic response from audiences during Radio Two's birthday concert in Warsaw's Witold Lutosławski studio. This prompted the artists to continue the project and present it to a wider audience. Owls are not what they seem.
The project was commissioned by Polish Radio 2.
