The Real McKenzies are playing in Poland! This crazy band of adventurers uniquely combines Scottish cultural influences with a guitar sound, which can be heard on 3 August in Krakow's Hype Park and the day after in Warsaw's Proxima. An event like this is not to be missed!
It can be said without a shadow of a doubt that The Real McKenzies are an unmistakable band. Formed in 1992 by the colourful poet-contestant Paul McKenzie, the group are a merry band of rebels following their own path. They have spent more than 30 years travelling the world to play for an ever-growing crowd of adventurers and lightweights. Few bands can boast a career spanning so long, so incredibly adventurous, wild, turbulent and even playing with death. They are an unstoppable force of concert madness.
From sharing the stage with bands such as NOFX, Rancid, Flogging Molly, Metallica and Shane McGowan, to appearing in films, books and video games, to being signed to the legendary Fat Wreck Chords label, their story continues to amaze.
Over the course of more than three decades of existence, The Real McKenzies have released 12 studio albums. The group's latest album is 2022's Songs of the Highlands, Songs of the Sea, which boldly shows that they have no intention of stopping.
