The music of past eras occupies an important place in contemporary concert life. Despite being performed by seemingly small ensembles, it delights music lovers with its richness of expression, natural charm and unique sound. Together with the youngest children, we will take a look at the music from the time when Warsaw became the capital of Poland. We will talk about fashionable clothes, court etiquette and games played at the royal castle. We will also show what instruments were played in the royal chambers. A concert with an ensemble specialising in early music will take older listeners back to the distant times of the reign of the Vasa dynasty rulers. It will feature copies of instruments characteristic of the period: the lute, viola da gamba and simple flutes.
