The year 2025 will see the Polish national team fight for promotion to the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico. UEFA has published the official schedule of European qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, which will feature 54 teams allocated to 12 groups.

The Polish national team will play their first matches in this competition in March. Two home matches will take place at PGE Narodowe: against Lithuania (21.03) and Malta (24.03). Each will kick off at 20:45.

Group G will conclude the competition on 17 November 2025. The play-off matches will take place in March 2026. Direct promotion to the 2026 World Cup final tournament, to be played in the USA, Canada and Mexico, will be secured by the group winners.
