We invite you to the Night of Museums at the Polonika Institute! This is a unique opportunity to visit the modernist villa built in the 1930s for Stanisław Kirkor, and to find out what we do on a daily basis at the Institute. We start on 17 May at 6 pm.
As part of the Night of the Museums at the Polonica Institute, we have prepared a number of attractions for adults and children:
Walking tour of Stary Mokotow - in the footsteps of architecture and extraordinary people (meeting: SGH, 162 Niepodległości Avenue, at 6 p.m.)
A tour of the Institute - history and secrets (18:00 / 19:00 / 20:00)
3D workshop - scan a monument, create a digital model of it! (18:30)
Concert - jazz versions of film hits! (20:30)
Polonika cinema - for children and adults (18.00-20.00)
Bookshop - Polish heritage books at discount prices
Minecraft - play and see Polish monuments from around the world

Museums Night is a magical night when Warsaw turns into a cultural capital since 2004! On 17 May, more than 300 places - from galleries to secret archives - invite you to visit for free. Every year, around 300,000 Varsovians and guests visit museums, galleries and places that are not normally accessible for free. It is an event that brings the capital to life from dusk till dawn thanks to the passion of volunteers, cultural workers and guides.
