Once a warehouse and industrial area of Warsaw, it was home to 30 production and research plants (including the Unitra Unima electronics factory, the Tewa semiconductor factory, the ZREMB crane factory or the Elwa capacitor factory) employing 20,000 people. Today, it is the oldest office centre in Poland, which is being transformed into a residential district before our very eyes.
