Specially for the occasion, L'Arpeggiata has prepared a moving new work, 'Wonder Women'. It is a musical tribute to extraordinary women composers and artists who had to fight for the right to creative expression for centuries. The programme will hear works by Baroque women composers of the 17th century, as well as passionate traditional songs from South America and Italy. Particularly moving will be the Mexican song 'La Bruja' ('The Witch'), symbolising the freedom and strength of women regardless of era or culture.
Experience an unforgettable evening with the L'Arpeggiata ensemble, Christina Pluhar and outstanding soloists: Luciana Mancini, Céline Scheen, Benedetta Mazzucato and Vincenzo Capezzuto.
