Chopin Salon is a venue maintained in the atmosphere of interwar Warsaw, where daily chamber concerts have been held since 21 June 2013. The creation of the Salon is the fulfilment of a long-standing dream of the Warsaw Music Quarter, around the Fryderyk Chopin University, the Fryderyk Museum and many places that have long been part of Warsaw's musical landscape.
The reception lounge of the 1910 tenement house at 14 Smolna Street presents the works of Fryderyk Chopin in interpretations by outstanding, mainly young pianists. Each day a different pianist performs, and each concert is different. Sometimes the piano is accompanied by violin, cello or singing, and Chopin's compositions by works by other great composers. At the beginning of each month we publish an artistic calendar for the month.
