Piłsudski's biography related to Pavilion X: his stay there, when, as the leading leader of the PPS and editor of Robotnik (Worker's Weekly), he was imprisoned there together with his wife Maria on 18 April 1900, following the discovery of the magazine's printing plant in his flat in Łódź at that time. Documents and photographs illustrate his arrest, his stay in the Tenth Pavilion, the course of the investigation, the circumstances surrounding his simulation of mental illness in order to get out of here, and finally his transport on 15 December this year for 'treatment' to a hospital in St Petersburg and his successful escape from there on 14 May 1901.
