The author of the play, composer and playwright Bogusław Schaeffer, only admitted eleven years later that the instrumental actor he had designed actually existed, and that it was none other than Jan Peszek!

We present an hour-long display of technical mastery, where Jan Peszek's creativity, expressive style and temperament mingle with sophisticated humour and a rather critical view of contemporary art and the problem of alienation of its creators.

Seemingly a joke of the former avant-garde, seemingly a lecture filled with academic text - performed by an instrumental actor, this is the phenomenon of Schaeffer's project, which once portrays the artist as a priest of art and once as a jester. Jan Peszek, crossing successive boundaries, moves with virtuoso flair from the apotheosis of art to the mockery of its exuberant pride.
