According to mythology, the inventor of stringed instruments was Mercury, and of the violin was Orpheus. Safona invented the bow strung with horse hair. String instruments are most often found in classical music, but even in Poland we have a huge output of jazz violinists: Michał Urbaniak, Zbigniew Seifert, Adam Bałdych, Atom String Quartet and others.
Singer, pianist, composer and voice emission coach. She values music's extraordinary ability to bring people together and enjoys sharing her passion and love for music with others. Her greatest success in education is taking up the chair of singing at Vijaybhoomi University in India. She also has experience of working with children, in the form of music workshops and theatre productions for children. She has also taught musicianship classes in kindergartens and primary schools.
Michał Zaborski - composer and viola player in the multi-awarded Fryderyk, Atom String Quartet - the first string quartet in Poland to perform original jazz music. As a member of Atom String Quartet, he has performed with such artists as Urszula Dudziak, Kayah, Natalia Kukulska, Bobby McFerrin, Branford Marsalis and Adam Sztaba. The German label ACT Music released a CD of the concert at the Berlin Philharmonic, where the ensemble performed together with Leszek Możdżer, Lars Danielsson and Zohar Fresco. The band's leader, the Michał Zaborski Quartet, with whom it recorded the album Feeling Earth.
