The acting comeback of an icon of Polish cinema - Jan Englert. 80-year-old Tadeusz leads a quiet retired life at the side of his wife Helena. After years of working in a hospital, he wants to enjoy his old age and the charms of his house with a garden, where they soon plan to hold the wedding of their beloved granddaughter. The idyll is shattered by a tragic car accident, casting a shadow over his marriage and revealing the cracks in his relationship with his son. In addition, a woman appears in Tadeusz's life, under whose influence he begins to make surprising decisions about his loved ones.
