The exhibition recalls the figure of Anna Iwaszkiewicz's father, the founder of Stawisko and one of the founding fathers of Podkowa Leśna, on the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the garden city and the Lilpop Year in Mazovia established by the Regional Parliament.

We will show unique memorabilia and photographs from the collections of the Museum, which is the legal guardian of Lilpop artefacts inherited from his father by his only, beloved daughter Anna Iwaszkiewiczowa. We will recall all the main chapters of St Wilhelm Lilpop's biography - from his genealogy, through his visionary ideas, to his great passions - travelling, hunting and photography. Lilpop was the first Polish photographer to take stereoscopic photographs using the autochrome technique. His entire collection housed in Stawisko consists of 550 original diapositives on glass and over 1,000 prints on paper.
