The Cultural Centre in Piaseczno invites you to another series of concerts by the National Philharmonic in the 2024/2025 school year, prepared especially for children.

Encounters with Music are an opportunity for them to awaken their musical passions. They allow them to come into contact with music from different historical periods, to learn about its genres and styles, the specific character of instruments, to observe the playing of musicians and even the movements of dancers, and finally - to experience the emotions that arise during contact with live art.

The music of past eras occupies an important place in contemporary concert life. Despite being performed by seemingly small ensembles, it delights music lovers with its richness of expression, natural charm and unique sound. Together with the youngest children, we will take a look at the music from the time when Warsaw became the capital of Poland. We will talk about fashionable clothes, court etiquette and games played at the royal castle. We will also show what instruments were played in the royal chambers. A concert with an ensemble specialising in early music will take older listeners back to the distant times of the reign of the Vasa dynasty rulers. It will feature copies of instruments characteristic of the period: the lute, viola da gamba and simple flutes.

The concerts are intimate, take place once a month from September to June and last about 45 minutes. They are performed by artists collaborating with the Philharmonic, and the meeting hosts and guides through the world of music are the speakers. They are invited at 10:00, 11:00 and 12:00.
