Life-giving bees SAVINGS
A unique meeting during which we will move to the fascinating world of bees. We will learn about their extraordinary role in nature. Watching an enlarged model of a bee, we will learn about their structure and then take a look at their nests. We will find out how honey is made, what properties it has and whether humans can reproduce it. There will also be interesting facts about bees' wax combs and a presentation of the beekeeper's outfit and tools - we will check whether the bees are happy to give away their honey! We will also learn about the different types of bees and their tasks in the hive. We will consider whether bees have an easy life, what dangers await them and why a bee can only sting once. We will also discuss their crucial role in the ecosystem - after all, bees are not just about honey! Meeting with live bees in a demonstration hive. A sweet gift at the end.
