The Burger Street Festival, which has revolutionised Czech street food, will also compete for Polish palates from this year. The event, which has been setting the highest culinary standards in the Czech Republic for more than 10 years and attracts a quarter of a million burger fans every year, will come to Janki near Warsaw in August. More than 30 burger variants - from classic to exotic, combining a variety of culinary concepts from around the world - will be presented by a dozen exhibitors.
Burger Street Festival - a brand that has been setting the standards of the street food scene in the Czech Republic for more than 10 years - is entering Poland. The festival will showcase the best burger chefs from all over Central Europe and local gastronomic gems.

- We will bring to Poland the most famous burgers from the Czech Republic, where street food culture stands at a very high level. We know that Poles, like Czechs, love good food, so we will focus on presenting the best. We have taught Czechs that a burger is not just fast food, but a fine form of gastronomy that can surprise, entertain and inspire. Our festivals have helped to create and promote many brands that today are among the best in Czech street food. Now we want to achieve the same in Poland. - says festival organiser Bedřich Snášel.

The organisers guarantee a uniform, tasting size for the burgers - each will contain 100 grams of meat - so that guests can try several different versions. The burgers are complemented by a classic street food assortment - in addition to fries, guests can expect original sweets such as macarons or Spanish churros.

The festival is not only an opportunity to discover new flavours, but also a chance to recognise the best burger makers. Participants will be able to vote for their favourite exhibitor via a mobile app - the best will be awarded medals, which in the Czech Republic are an indicator of the highest burger quality. Voters will compete for attractive prizes.

Polish-Czech culinary clash

First Polish edition of Burger Steet Festival will host top exhibitors
from the Czech Republic, repeatedly awarded by the local public, who appreciated their products.

Discover burgers from among others:

- U Dřeváka Beer&Grill - a Brno-based establishment that offers three original burgers
with meat in a pretzel roll.

- Patyzón - Their flagship burger is called 'Jack Daniel's' - the meat is flambéed in whiskey.

- Bombastica - offers three offerings combining traditional beef with exotic flavours from around the world.

In addition to Czech artists, local burger chefs will also present their best offerings. The Burger Street Festival also features an interesting programme and numerous competitions - e.g. in eating a giant burger - and inspiring cooking demonstrations. The Polish premiere of the Burger Street Festival will take place in the Janki Shopping Centre on Friday and Saturday, 22-23 August, and a week later - 30-31 August - the new street food festival will come to Wrocław.
