Since his Minute Long Songs on TikToku gained popularity in 2020, BoyWithUke's life has taken a dizzying turn. Almost 1.5 billion plays, numerous platinum recordings and the most viewed Genius Open Mic ('Toxic') video to date. He has won the hearts of billions online, playing sold-out shows around the world and gaining recognition from media outlets such as Billboard, Ones To Watch and many others.

Charley Yang has been through a lot of changes in his life as BoyWithUke - from the end of his first long-term relationship, which lasted four years, to breaking up with a major record label. "For a long time I was making songs to impress the person I loved, as well as people in the music industry, and when that disappeared... I felt a bit lost. But in a broader and more positive sense, I felt freedom - freedom to make mistakes and do what I felt like doing. I think that's what 'Burnout' is about," Yang explains.
