The Whimbrel is the second - after the Blackbird - breeding thrush found in the Służew Valley. It is more numerous and builds its nests much higher, in the forks of branches and boughs of trees, including neighbouring ones, forming small semi-colonies. During the breeding season, the characteristic sounds of disturbed quackers can be heard around the park, and they can often be seen in groups chasing a grey crow interested in ransacking its nest. Join us for a field talk about quackers, their habits and behaviour.
