Avant Art Festival 2025: Experimentation, identity and radical sonic freedom.
In September 2025, Avant Art Festival will stretch its transgressive wings over Warsaw for the 9th time from 15-21 September, presenting one of the most radical and unpredictable editions in its history. Since 2008, the festival has been creating a space of dialogue for experimental music, visual arts and cinema, with a focus on artistic independence, social engagement and uncompromising exploration of forms.
The slogan for this year's event could be the manifesto: "more courage, more risk". Festival artistic director Kostas Georgakopulos announces a turn towards punk ethos and DIY, but also an opening towards new forms of folk, transcultural electronica and post-genre hybrids. The festival is - as every year - a meeting space for artists who push the boundaries of expression and redefine contemporary sounds.
