The Museum of Linen-making has created an exhibition dedicated to the weaving branch of the Linen Factory in Żyrardów entitled. "A thread connecting the past and the present", whose main exhibits are looms used to produce raw linen fabric in the former linen factory. The exhibition is open from Friday 22 December 2017 and can be visited free of charge during the opening hours of the Linen Museum.

We begin our tour of the exhibition with the historical zone, which occupies the first two post-factory halls. On display here are more than a dozen antique weaving looms of the STB 4-175 type, manufactured in the USSR in the late 1970s. The machinery also includes a loom on which an 1150-metre linen tablecloth was woven on 15 June 2009, thus breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest tablecloth in the world. In addition to the looms, the halls in question also featured a pattern card punching machine, original fabric pattern books from the Linen Works, shuttles and coils. The space was enriched, among other things, with historical photographs from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries and from the 1970s and 1980s, as well as boards informing about the history of weaving in Żyrardów, the construction of the loom and the process of producing raw fabric. An important element of this part of the exhibition are film projections presenting the work of weavers at the loom and a reminiscence film.
Meanwhile, in the third hall, dedicated to the so-called 'manufactory zone', a demonstration production of weaving on a mechanical STB 4-175 loom, a jacquard loom and a wooden loom for hand-weaving was launched.
