For the third time, Warsaw's Old Town will turn into the cultural centre of the capital! On the weekend of 18-19 July, we invite you to celebrate together the 72nd anniversary of the reconstruction of Warsaw's Old Town - a unique place that is a symbol of the strength and rebirth of Warsaw.
Programme
The film, directed by Krzysztof Tchórzewski and shot in Poland in 1998 and lasting 49 minutes, shows Alina Szapocznikow's studio near Paris, recorded just a few weeks after the artist's death in 1973. It is a moving, final record of her creative space, which reveals in an intimate way the workshop of one of the most important Polish sculptors of the 20th century. The screening of the film takes place in a symbolic location - Alina Szapocznikow's last studio in Poland, on Brzozowa Street.
