The Kontrast Figurative Painting Festival is organised by the Ursynów District Office of the City of Warsaw, the Ursynów Cultural Centre "Alternatywy" and Miniature Night Painting. Admission to the festival and participation in the competition and all activities is free.

The main axis of the festival is the exhibition of competition entries, which will feature nearly 2,000 figurines, dioramas, armies from the fields of fantasy, sci-fi, gaming or history. Another element of the event will be presentations by figure painters, during which it will be possible to learn the secrets of this art. The festival will not be short of workshops, discussion panels, a figurine manufacturers' zone or presentations of battle games.
