We would like to invite you to the FolkOFF/ON Festival - the only one in Warsaw, taking place in Praga-Południe - which is meant to be a space for the meeting of tradition and contemporaneity, of different approaches to folklore - not only dance and music - and an opportunity to present the achievements of ensembles inspired by folk dance and music. It is also an opportunity for joint creation, as well as integration of the Warsaw and all-Polish folklore and folk environment.

The idea for the festival is the result of cooperation between the Woda na Młyn group and the Gocław Culture Terminal. FolkOFF/ON consists of concerts and dance and music performances on the one hand, and anthropologically themed accompanying events on the other.
This year's theme for the festival is the mountains. We want to show how Warsaw folk dance groups and other dance styles are inspired by the heritage of the Carpathian Mountains - from Bieszczady to Beskid Żywiecki. There will also be touches of Warsaw and Vistula, local accents.
