The celebration of Polish Army Day - this year - on 15 August - in addition to the traditional events at military units scattered across the country and a grand military parade on Warsaw's Wisłostrada, will be marked for the first time by a naval parade on the Hel Peninsula.

On 14 August at 7 p.m., the commemorations will be inaugurated with an Appeal of Remembrance combined with the lighting of candles at the Monument to the 1920 Fallen at the Military Cemetery at Powązki in Warsaw.
On the same day, at 21:00 in Ossów, an appeal will be held at the cross commemorating the death of Father Major Ignacy Skorupka.
