The 20th Ad Libitum Festival kicks off on 11 September!
It is as many as five days in five different spaces - Pardon, To Tu, Hashtag Lab, the Laboratory of the Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle and its park surroundings, and the finale at the Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio of the Polish Radio.
40 artists will perform at 14 concerts! Free entrance, you are welcome!
Dedicated to the idea of improvisation in music, every year the Ad Libitum festival discovers new meanings for it, creates new artistic situations, presents unique events and seeks new territories for artists to collaborate.
Our mission is to bring together artists of different generations and backgrounds in collaboration, creating a living laboratory that is a place for international, creative contact and artistic exchange.
It is a themed festival, in each of its editions directing attention to a chosen aspect, field or strand of the art of improvisation.
