For one day a week during the warm months, the Secret Garden will be open to the local Elektoralna community and visitors to our green corner. We offer a reading room with books on environmental themes and so-called sketchbooks from nature - art materials for individual creativity. We offer space for independent work, relaxation and meetings. For those who are willing, we also offer small community activities - working on a permaculture plot, singing and storytelling together. We also want to initiate the recording of 'oral histories' of older male and female residents of Elektoralna and the surrounding area.

The meeting formula is open and flowing - you can come at any time and stay as long as you like during the opening hours. The guardians of the Secret Garden these days are members of the Green Patrol of the Mazovian Cultural Institute.

How does it work?
Every Tuesday in July and August, we invite you to the Secret Garden - a green space in the city centre. It's up to you how you want and need to spend your time: relaxing between tasks on deckchairs in a green natural setting? An open-air home office? A spontaneous get-together with your neighbours during a joint social activity? A few minutes of respite while working in the garden? A summer afternoon with the children?
Just visit us in the Secret Garden - you will meet animators from the MIK Green Patrol and cooperating organisations on site who can offer you interesting activities for this time.
