In the beautiful interior of the Fryderyk Concert Hall, lit only by candlelight, we will listen to Fryderyk Chopin's compositions performed by extraordinary artists - outstanding musicians of our time.

Alongside works by Fryderyk Chopin, the programme of the concerts will include music by other composers who inspired Fryderyk Chopin (e.g. Jan Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven), composers from the circle of European Romantic music (e.g. Ferenc Liszt, Józef Elsner, Stanisław Moniuszko), as well as later composers.

The concerts are two-part recitals lasting approximately 60 minutes, based on the idea of salon music gatherings popular in the 19th century. During the interval of the concert, you will be treated to a glass of sparkling wine.

Oboje pochodzą z Japonii , ale zafascynowani muzyką Fryderyka Chopina postanowili spędzić w Polsce część swojego życia. Dzielą swój czas między Polskę i Japonię.

Haruka Matsumoto urodziła się i wychowała w Osace w Japonii w 1995 roku. Swoją edukację muzyczną rozpoczęła w wieku czterech lat, ucząc się gry na fortepianie. Haruka ukończyła dwie prestiżowe uczelnie: Toho College of Music w Tokio oraz renomowany Uniwersytet Muzyczny im. Fryderyka Chopina w Warszawie. Studiowała u kilku szanowanych profesorów, m.in. Koji Shimoda, Yoshito Numasawa, Hitomi Kamba, Hiroe Arai, Ayami Iida i Anny Jastrzębskiej-Quinn.

She has taken part in masterclasses given by outstanding pianists and pedagogues such as Eliso Virsaladze, Pascal Devoyon, Mikhail Voskresensky, Kálmán Dráfi and Takako Takahashi.

Haruka has won numerous national and international piano competitions. She won First Prize at the Japan Piano Competition in 2020, First Prize and Grand Prix at the Danubia Talents International Competition in Hungary in 2024, First Prize and Grand Prix at the K Competition in Tokyo, Silver Prize at the International Chopin Competition in Asia in 2017 and Second Prize at the Paderewski in Memoriam International Piano Competition in Poland.

She has performed at the Sumida Triphony Hall in Tokyo, the Radziwill Palace, the Japanese Embassy in Poland and the KAWAI concert halls in Osaka, Hiroshima and Warsaw, among others.

She shares her knowledge with the younger generation of pianists in Poland. Haruka has a deep understanding of the works of Fryderyk Chopin and Polish piano music, which she constantly explores and brings to life in her performances.

Koki to pianista z Saitama w Japonii. Urodzony 11 czerwca 1998. Edukację muzyczną i naukę gry na fortepianie rozpoczął w wieku 14 lat. Ukończył liceum muzyczne w Saitama w Japonii. Następnie ukończył Akademię Muzyczną im. Fryderyka Chopina w klasie prof. Jerzego Sterczyńskiego.

He is a laureate and winner of many piano competitions. He has participated in the masterclasses of Prof. Yukio Yokoyama and Prof. Anna Jastrzębska Quinn.

He is currently touring extensively in Poland and internationally.

He also created an online piano teaching school in Japan.
