The exhibition presents a variety of gifts made to the Museum in the first quarter of the 21st century. It acknowledges the donors and provides an opportunity to showcase this remarkable collection. Such gift exhibitions took place at the Asia-Pacific Museum in 1978, 1982, 1988 and 2000.
Between 2000 and 2025, the Museum received more than 3,000 objects from some 300 individuals and institutions - artists, travellers, collectors, researchers and diplomats. Today, the Asia-Pacific Museum's collection comprises more than 22,000 exhibits!
More than 150 objects from Asia and Oceania will be on display: paintings, sculptures, prints, manuscripts, photographs and ritual and everyday objects; plus collections of archival photographs.
