In the beautiful interior of the Fryderyk Concert Hall, lit only by candlelight, we will listen to Fryderyk Chopin's compositions performed by extraordinary artists - outstanding musicians of our time.
Alongside works by Fryderyk Chopin, the programme of the concerts will include music by other composers who inspired Fryderyk Chopin (e.g. Jan Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven), composers from the circle of European Romantic music (e.g. Ferenc Liszt, Józef Elsner, Stanisław Moniuszko), as well as later composers.
The concerts are two-part recitals lasting approximately 60 minutes, based on the idea of salon music gatherings popular in the 19th century. During the interval of the concert, you will be treated to a glass of sparkling wine.

Paweł Andrzej Mazurkiewicz, born in Warsaw, began his musical education as an accordionist and did not learn to play the piano until the age of 16. He studied with Jan Ekier and Bronisława Kawalla at the University of Music in Warsaw and with Tomasz Herbut at the University of the Arts in Bern (soloist diploma with the 'Tschumi' Prize). He is currently professor of piano at the University of the Arts in Bern and a pedagogue at MS Aaretal near Bern.
Paweł Mazurkiewicz is the winner of numerous piano competitions: in 2003 he won the Prix Credit Suisse Jeunes Solistes (Switzerland). He also won, among others, the first prize at the 30th F. Chopin National Piano Competition in Warsaw (where he also received a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and Art), as well as prizes at the K. Szymanowski Competition' in Łódź. Further awards in Japan, Greece, France, Poland and Switzerland.
He regularly performs as a soloist and chamber musician on three continents (e.g. in Tokyo, Osaka, Los Angeles, Berlin, Rome, Warsaw, Strasbourg, in Switzerland in the biggest concert halls - KKL Lucerne, KKT Thun, Kultur Casino Bern, Tonhalle Zurich, Zentrum Paul Klee Bern, playing among others with the Bern Symphony Orchestra, Bern Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra Classica Bern, Neue Zurich Orchester, Orchestra da Camera di Lugano.Among others, playing with the Bern Symphony Orchestra, the Bern Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra Classica Bern, Neue Zurich Orchester, Orchestra da Camera di Lugano).

The "Fryderyk" Concert Hall is a place of intimate meetings with the music of Fryderyk Chopin, in the style of 19th century salon meetings. Here, in the heart of Warsaw's Old Town, you will spend an unforgettable time in one of the most beautiful concert halls. A magnificent Steinway grand piano, crystal chandeliers, mirrors, beautiful stuccowork and an atmosphere of unforced elegance, as well as performances by superb pianists, will make you want to return here.
The concert is a two-part recital lasting approximately 60 minutes, based on the idea of salon music gatherings popular in the 19th century. During the interval of the concert, guests are treated to a glass of sparkling wine. The concert is performed by extraordinary pianists whose names are known throughout Europe and the world - professors of the University of Music in Warsaw and winners of international piano competitions, graduates of prestigious music academies: Joanna Ławrynowicz, Anna Kubicz, Maciej Poliszewski, Maria Korecka-Soszkowska, Robert Skiera, Kayo Nishimizu.
The programme will include his most famous compositions. We will hear, among others, the Etude in C minor, Op. 10 No. 12, called the Revolutionary, the Polonaise in A flat major, Op. 53, the so-called 'Heroic', and the Prelude in D flat major, Op. 28, No. 16, called the Rain Prelude.
