We would like to invite you to a unique Night of the Museums at Zachęta - National Gallery of Art! An evening full of art, sound and unforgettable experiences awaits you.
During this year's edition, all current exhibitions shown at the gallery will be free to visit: "Andrea Fraser. Art Must Hang', presenting the work of the American performer and educator, representative of the trend of institutional criticism; a review of experiments with the medium of photography 'Beyond the Script. Film Form Workshop' and a presentation of kinetic sculptures by the Lithuanian duo Pakui Hardware, who represented Lithuania at last year's Venice Art Biennale.
In turn, at the Zachęta Project Space (3 Gałczyńskiego Street), you can visit the exhibition 'Heart. Sun", which is an invitation to reflect on the personal and universal symbolism of the sun and the heart. It is an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of contemporary art, meet new names and look at reality through the prism of artistic narratives.
A unique event at this year's Night of Museums at Zachęta will be a concert by Radio Lola, a community sound collective operating mainly in Warsaw and known for its unconventional approach to music. This time, with its powerful 850 soundsystem, Lola will create a unique immersive sound experience at Zachęta. Radio Lola's broadcasts are always live and broadcast from different corners of the city - now from the art gallery. The artists will play music from vinyl, CDs, cassettes and in a hybrid format, serving up a fascinating mix of sounds. You can expect everything from energetic drum sessions, hip-hop mixtapes and dancehall sets to ambient soundscapes. The set will begin at 7pm.
It will be a night full of inspiration, encounters and sounds you won't forget for a long time. Admission free. See you at Zachęta!
Attendance at the event during the stated times is free of charge. No application or registration required. Intended for designated individuals for whom the event is dedicated. Details can be found on the Zachęta website.
