VOŁOSI - Virtuosos of the Carpathians.
A worldwide brand of Polish folk music!
The VOŁOSI band was born out of an extraordinary meeting of traditional and contemporary artists in the heart of the Polish mountains. Their music - pulsating with energy, full of virtuosity and improvisation - combines the melodies of the Silesian Beskid with the climate of the entire Carpathian region.
VOŁOSI have already played more than 820 concerts all over the world, performing at the most prestigious festivals and renowned concert halls. Their performances have been broadcast by the BBC, WDR3, Ö1 and Polish Radio, among others, and concerts at venues such as WOMEX, the Stockholm Water Prize and "Bae Cheol-soo's Music Camp" in South Korea have brought the band international recognition.
The music of VOŁOS is elemental, emotional and virtuosic - a wonderful journey through the sounds of the mountains and world-class folk.
